September again!  Another year older, another scorchingly hot summer gone by.  Yay fall!  I love that the weather is turning. I haven't been doing much writing lately.  Some stream-of-consciousness poetry, and some erotica, of course, but nothing really worth cleaning up and posting.  I do have a script in the works that I want to write another draft of and finish up properly, but it's been sitting around for a few months now ... needs some time devoted to it. I have been getting back into jewelry design, which is nice.  I had to let it go for a while after Bead Heaven closed and that whole fiasco left me rather burnt out on the whole busin

Where does the time go? I'm not really participating in NaPoWriMo this year -- with a show that I'm stage managing opening in a week, I just don't have the time or energy.  And of course Script Frenzy is this month, too ... it would be tempting to get something finished, but show stuff is simply eating my life right now. On that note, if you're in the GTA you can go to http://www.panfishproductions.ca/  to buy tickets to what I'm currently working on.  The show is Norm Foster's "The Melville Boys" and it's running April 12th to 28th at Alumnae Theatre, in the Studio space.  Tickets are $25 and they're also good for 15% off a meal at 3 Brewe

Ugh.  Been meaning to update here all week, but I've been busy (visited my parents, with all the various stuff that entails), and also completely laid-out by this insane heat wave.  I melt when the temperature gets over 25.  I'm like a guy with a man-cold right now: flopping around on the floor going "waaaaah, I'm waaaaaarm" and being completely ineffectual about everything. In any case:  issue #1 of my zine is now available!  You can view it online or print out your own copies from the .pdf files available here: http://poeticallusions.wordpress.com/2011/07/15/issue-1-is-now-available/ I've also been leaving copies at various coffee shops i

I'm going to read the rest of your writing to get myself out of my writer's block so all of your works better be diamonds in the rough otherwise you're in big trouble little lady! :)
Heh ... I won't claim they're all of particularly high quality. I write a lot, and they can't all be gems!
nope! I'm not allowing this. I'm betting all my money on you. so if you think some of your works aren't gems, then quickly edit them into gems before I read them. I'm starting with gearbox. the rest have a chance but it's too late for gearbox. :)
:glomp: Hi Karen. Dropped in, loved everything, watching you now like a hungry zombie :)
Thank you! The praise of other skilled writers is always most appreciated. I hope that you continue to like what you see. :D
Happy Belated Birthday!
