Another instance of me getting incredibly bored during class ... Dramatic Literature, this time. Whilst doodling on my notepad, I noticed that a question mark looks suspiciously like half of a heart ... so I stuck two together ... then I started thinking about the implications of a heart made out of question marks ... upon returning to my room after class, I spent a few minutes fabricating this in photoshop. I'm rather pleased with the result.

It wasn't difficult at all ... took maybe 15 or 20 minutes, total. I just typed a question mark in Times New Roman font, tilted it, copied and reversed it. Then I used an effect called "chrome" to give texture to the question mark heart, copied the whole thing 4 times and put all the layers on top of each other but offset only a few pixels to get that blurry thing going, and growing more transparent as they went upwards so that all the layers would show, then last I gave each layer a different tint, and finally I added the text in the middle, which was cut out from a really blurry picture of some leaves. Most of it was just playing around until it looked right, so a lot of trial and error, but nothing overly sophisticated in the end. I'm glad you like it, though.

it looks almost like you took a pic of a lightbulb and stretched the hell out of it, but the way you did it sounds much more complicated... I bow to your photoshop skills

Clever and thought-provoking. I love the fact that the two question marks share the same point (which, ironically, does not appear to be sharp at all)!

They look like they are touching foreheads, looking at their feet together.

HEART #1 : Forever?

HEART #2 : Forever?

HEART #1 and #2 TOGETHER : (embrace the question between their bodies) Forever.
